Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Unlistd (the “Service”), operated by Unlistd Inc., you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Unlistd is an automated data removal service that scans data broker websites for your personal information and submits opt-out requests on your behalf. The Service includes:

  • Automated scanning of data broker sites for personal information.
  • Submission of opt-out and removal requests to data brokers.
  • Continuous monitoring for re-listed data.
  • Reporting on scan results and removal progress.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. Parents or legal guardians may use the family plan feature to manage data removal for minors under their care.

4. Account Registration

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at support@unlistd.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

5. Subscription and Billing

5.1 Plans

The Service is offered through paid subscription plans (Basic, Pro, and Elite) with features as described on our pricing page. Plan features and pricing may be updated from time to time.

5.2 Billing

Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually, depending on the billing cycle you choose. Payment is processed securely through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.

5.3 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are provided for unused time within a billing period, except under the 30-day guarantee.

5.4 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee

New subscribers may request a full refund within 30 days of their initial subscription. Contact support@unlistd.com to request a refund. This guarantee applies to the first billing period only.

6. Your Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate personal information for the purpose of data broker scanning and removal.
  • Only submit information for which you have the legal right to request removal (i.e., your own data or data of minors in your legal care).
  • Not use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
  • Not attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service.
  • Not abuse, overload, or interfere with the Service.

7. Data Removal Disclaimer

While we strive for complete data removal, we cannot guarantee that every listing will be removed from every data broker. Removal success depends on factors outside our control, including:

  • Each data broker’s compliance with opt-out requests.
  • The accuracy and completeness of information you provide.
  • Changes to data broker websites, policies, or processes.
  • Legal requirements that may prevent certain removals.

We report our success rates transparently on our website and in your account dashboard.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, content, and branding, is the property of Unlistd Inc. and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without written permission.

9. API Usage

API access is available exclusively to Elite plan subscribers. API usage is subject to rate limits and fair use policies. We reserve the right to suspend API access if usage patterns indicate abuse or are likely to degrade the Service for other users.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Unlistd Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Unlistd Inc. and its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or if we reasonably believe your use of the Service poses a risk to us or other users. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections 8, 10, 11, and 13 survive termination.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or through the Service at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
